Job Overview
Pakistan Army has opened its 2026 recruitment drive for Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) and multiple Soldier trades. The recruitment covers Naib Khateeb, General Duty Soldier, Technical Soldier, Driver, Military Police, Clerk, Cook and Sanitary Worker categories.
Registration/recruitment runs from 1 September to 23 November 2026. For Soldier categories, online registration is available through the Army recruitment portal for the period stated in the current recruitment instructions, while candidates can also use Army Selection & Recruitment Centres/Regimental Centres where applicable.

Age Relaxation & Special Cases
- Age is calculated against the date specified in the recruitment notice, currently 24 November 2026 for the listed age criteria.
- Candidates with higher qualifications may receive the age relaxation provided in the recruitment rules.
- Candidates from Balochistan and merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may receive the specified age relaxation where applicable.
- Driver candidates holding a valid driving licence may receive the relaxation stated in the current Soldier Driver rules.
- Serving Army personnel applying for Naib Khateeb have a separate age/service bracket.
Naib Khateeb Requirements
The JCO Naib Khateeb route is different from ordinary Soldier trades. The current recruitment requires religious education through Dars-e-Nizami along with general education at FA/FSc or equivalent level. Knowledge of Arabic and strength in Qira’at and Hifz are listed as additional qualifications.
