Job Overview

The largest part of NCCIA’s 2026 recruitment is for field-support staff. This grouped posting covers Constable (BS-05) and Constable Driver (BS-05). Together these two positions provide 238 vacancies, making this the biggest vacancy group in the current NCCIA hiring campaign.

There are 174 Constable posts and 64 Constable Driver posts. Both positions require Matriculation at the advertised standard, while Driver candidates must additionally hold the required driving licences and be capable of operating and maintaining light vehicles.

These are physically tested posts. Eligible candidates must meet the prescribed height/chest standards and qualify the endurance run before progressing through the recruitment stages. The deadline to apply online through NPF-TAS is 7 September 2026.

Available Positions

Constable Eligibility

The Constable post requires a 2nd Class Matriculation qualification from a recognized Board. Because the role falls within the physically tested recruitment group, educational eligibility alone is not sufficient. Candidates must also meet the advertised physical measurements and endurance benchmark.

• Matriculation, 2nd Class, from a recognized Board.
• Age 18–25 years, subject to applicable Federal Government upper-age relaxation rules.
• Applicable domicile/quota eligibility.
• Required physical measurements.
• Successful completion of the endurance test to progress to subsequent stages.

Constable Driver Eligibility

Constable Driver has the same Matric-level academic base but adds driving-specific requirements. Candidates should not apply for the Driver category unless their licences and practical driving background meet the advertised conditions.

• Matriculation, 2nd Class, from a recognized Board.
• Valid Motorcycle licence.
• Valid LTV licence from a licensing authority in Pakistan.
• Capability to drive cars and light vehicles.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• Physical and endurance requirements applicable to the recruitment group.

Physical Standards and Endurance Test

Both Constable and Constable Driver candidates are subject to physical screening. Applicants should train in advance and avoid assuming that a written test alone is enough to qualify.

Only candidates who meet the mandatory physical measurements and qualify the endurance stage can proceed according to the recruitment schedule. Applicants should use safe, gradual fitness preparation and should not wait for the test date before beginning endurance practice.

Quota and Nationwide Posting

The fee is Rs. 2,000 for each post/application. A candidate who wants to apply for both Constable and Constable Driver must submit two separate applications and pay two separate fees.
